Today's selection was looking for a four timer in his last race on the 1st August but came up short only managing third place against eight rivals, that was over a slightly longer trip of an extended 2m7f. Was in great form before that race winning two class fours and a class three with one of those victories coming at today's venue. The main threat today should be the Colin Tizzard trained Gentleman Jon who is upped in trip and the longer distance should suit but I think if todays selection can get first run from the front he'll be very hard to peg back. Today's conditions will suit and with track form he is definitely the one to beat with David Bass taking the reigns again.
